“Can a person live a full life with only one kidney?”
One of my mother's kidneys is failing, and she does not want to do dialysis. Is it possible for her to live a long life with only one kidney?

Usually whenever the term "kidney failure" is used, it is not one kidney, but both kidneys unless she has an obstruction or stenosis of one kidney alone. In the later condition, if her renal function is normal, then she will be alright like someone with a solitary kidney.
