“Can a strained neck be fixed at home?”
I strained my neck. How do you treat a strained neck?

A lot of times a strained neck is the muscles being over worked. safely strecthing the neck muscles, using a heating pad to losen the muscle tightness or even ice to reduce any imflammation can help eleviate these symptoms. Addtionally, sleeping in an odd position can cause neck soreness. Try changing pillows and sleep positions to enhance proper neck and spine alignment. If the symptoms persist longer that 2-3 weeks, follow up with your care provider and possibly a chiropractor. Please discuss with your provider for any significant issues present.

Yes. Rest, heat and ice (ice takes down inflammation of strained muscle and heat loosens it up, both also help with pain) and Tylenol or ibuprofen to also help with inflammation and pain.
