Genital herpes typically presents with painful genital sores (they look like blisters). If you've had genital herpes in the past, when you have a recurrence, it can feel like pain, tingling or itching. You treat genital herpes with an antiviral medicine (something like Valtrex).

Generally, it you have a UTI, you have pain with urinating, increased urgency and frequency to urinate. Sometimes, you might have blood when you urinate. If you have these symptoms, you can be treated with a 3-day or 5-day course of antibiotics (Bactrim or Macrobid). If your symptoms don't improve or get worse, I suggest you see a doctor.

Generally, vaginal yeast infection presents with itchiness and a cottage-cheese-like vaginal discharge. You can treat this with over-the-counter medicine (Monistat). Or a prescription medicine (Diflucan).
