Try asking your child if they know what is causing the anxiety and be aware that they may not know why it is occurring. Most often bringing your child to a therapist is the most beneficial. It is also useful to help your child identify triggers and warning signs. Help teach your child self-soothing and calming techniques such as relaxation skills and grounding techniques if they are having panic attacks.
