Can capped teeth be whitened?

I am a 30 year old male. I want to know if capped teeth can be whitened?

Capped teeth cannot be whitened. They are made from metal or porcelain or a combination of both. Whitening works by going into the pores of the natural teeth. You will have to get new "caps" if you want them whiter.
The only way to whiten teeth with crowns, is to replace them with new ones.
Porcelain cannot be whitened.
The answer is no. The crowns are made of either metal ceramic, lithium disilacate, or zirconia. These are types of porcelains that resist staining well, but cannot be whitened like your natural teeth. To change the shade of these crowns, they would need to be replaced.
So the short answer is unfortunately no, they cannot be whitened beyond their original shade. But in cases of staining that has occurred on top of the original shade then yes that can be removed, but in most cases this could be done during your routine cleaning appointment.
