Yes, if it is truly a delay. Further assessment should be considered to determine if it is a delay or disorder.
Each person is different depending on their diagnosis, medical history and circumstances. Sometimes incidences at birth can also play a role. The good news is 3 years old is a nice early time to see a speech language pathologist in your area and obtain an assessment so the findings and/or recommendations can be provided to you based specifically on your daughter. Intervention can improve speech delay. I'm leery of blindly using the words "correct" or "fix" without knowing the situation.
Yes, most definitely! Please contact: ASHA.org/profind to locate a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist near you, who will be able to assess and potentially provide treatment for your child. Early intervention is very important.

Best of luck!

Consider getting in contact with early intervention in your state as well as the therapy resources provided at your local Pre-K/Kindergarten/Elementary schools. They will have SLPs that will be available to consult with. Therapy is a great way to aid in speech delays, as well as talking to Your child as you go about your daily tasks. It may seem silly, but describing what you’re doing to your child helps build their vocabulary! It also gives them a chance to respond as you would in normal
Conversation. Read books with the little one as well! But above all, consult with professionals in your area as they will be able to give you more than suggestions. Best of luck!
