Can gastric bypass surgery cause a chronic cough?

About 3 months ago I got gastric bypass surgery. My weight is coming under control, but I've developed a cough that just won't go away. Can gastric bypass surgery cause a chronic cough?

It can. Be sure to follow up with your bariatric surgeon as it can be a sign of something more significant.
Please see a Pulmonologist.
This needs further evaluation.
Not directly. The most common causes for chronic cough are asthma, postnasal drip and acid reflux.
