I am a 19 year old female. I want to know if gastritis can be caused by stress?

Yes, sometimes stress can cause an increase in several different types of "stress hormones" that can cause an increase in acid production in the stomach, thus leading to gastritis symptoms.
No. But stress can make your stomach hurt, with or without gastritis being present.
