Cardiologist Questions Angioplasty

Can heart medicines cause headaches?

I underwent an angioplasty and am on Plavix. I am lately having a lot of headaches. Could it be due to the medication?

Yes, take Magnesium. Consult with Neurology.
It may be due to the medication. Talk with your doctor
Plavix usually does not give headaches. You might be getting nitrates like IMDUR, which can give headaches. Please take Tylenol 2 tablets every 4-6 hours to get better.
You can have headaches, but you should talk to your doctor about what is going on. Headaches are always something to be checked out.

I wish you well,
