Can laser eye surgery fix retinal tear?

I was diagnosed with a retinal tear. Can laser eye surgery fix retinal tear?

Yes of course. It's ideal and easy and safe. It's called laser photocoagulation. With typical anesthesia, it can be done in a Dr's office.
Tears in the retina are like a rip in the wallpaper. Treatment with laser or freezing "cryopexy" is often promptly performed to lessen the risk of a retina detachment - the equivalent to the wallpaper coming off the wall. Retinal detachment repair is usually successful but much more complicated. See a retinal specialist as soon as possible to get the laser and avoid the retina detachment. If one eye is involved, the other is at risk also. *James* James M.
