Yes, depending on what is causing the pain. Tendinitis & muscle strain, even a mild ankle sprain can be helped with most forms of physical therapy, which includes massage. If its an infection, you will likely need antibiotics, a broken bone needs to be put back & held together. Painful bone spurs, hammertoes, bunions & most other structural deformities may need to be removed or realigned (surgery). Good luck. Dr. M
Deep massage, heat, ice, inserts and physical therapy can all be of benefit to decreasing your heel pain symptoms. If you are looking for a solution to resolve your heel pain look into Orthotripsy. midohiofootandankle.com
foot pain has to be looked at from a doctor's point of view.
Massage cannot hurt but as long as your foot is the main cause.Specify how it all started and see who is the best to visit for a diagnosis.

Hi, the answer to your question is "it depends", it depends on the reason you are having foot pain, pain is the symptom, the root cause that is the reason for the pain has to be known before knowing if any treatment will help.
It depends on what is the cause of your foot pain. In some instances, massage can actually exacerbate a medical condition. So before you just go getting massages, go to a specialist to get a definitive diagnosis and an appropriate treatment for the problem
Massage can help foot pain depending on the cause. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for diagnosis and treatment options.
