Since vertigo can be caused by a number of issues, it's important to seek medical care to find the cause of it. What is helpful in finding treatment is starting by keeping a log of when you experience the vertigo, what you were doing at the time as well as your exercise and nutrition habits. Start by making an appointment with your primary doctor so they can assist you in narrowing down what may be causing it, then based on the information provided they will know what specialty to send you to for proper treatment. Most importantly during this waiting process keep hydrated with water and low or no sugar electrolyte drinks, keep up with your nutrition (protein and carbs), rest when you need to and don't overexert during exercise.
Why elect meds when altering the intake of certain kinds of food not eating so often will regulate your blood sugar and bring your blood pressure down to where it should be!
it really depends on what is causing the vertigo, for that i would recommend ENT evaluations, there are certain medications that can treat symptoms to some degree, but in the end it’s all about etiology, if you suffer for example from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, one of the most common etiologies, i think vestibular rehab and certain maneuvers that can be done ar home might help even more than medications
