Yes, the fat underneath the chin (submental fat) can be removed by 2 methods. One is liposuction, after which a chin strap will be placed for a week or so. Another method to remove submittal fat is by a series of injections to the submental area using deoxycholic acid (Kybella), an FDA-approved medication that works by destroying the fat cells under your chin, thereby improving your profile.
Yes. Surgical removal is possible. May be treated with Kybella or Coolsculpt as well.
Yes, liposuction is a great way to remove unwanted fat under the chin. If there is skin laxity present, a skin tightening procedure like a necklift may be needed as well. A consultation is the best way to determine the right procedure for you!
Yes is the short answer. Liposuction with smaller cannula’s will remove fat but depending on your skin elasticity and the amount of fat removed, you may need some skin tightening as well.
Neck fat can be surgically removed with a neck lift or liposuction. Alternatively, non-surgical fat reduction can be accomplished reliably with Kybella.
Yes, we can do liposuction and/or a neck lift. Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.

Yes. It can.
There are 2 locations where you fat can be.
1. Below your neck skin. This can be remove by liposuction.
2. Below the neck muscle called Platysma. Thus usually has to be removed by surgical excision. Liposuction cannot completely remove them
3. Both 1 & 2.
However, the result also depends on how much skin laxity is there. Sometimes, one needs a neck lift as well if too much loose skin is present.
I hope this help. Good luck.
Yes, it sure can! Submental (under chin) fat can be removed non-surgically with a medication called Kybella (deoxycholic acid). Administering Kybella basically involves bile acids that you ordinarily have in your body to digest fat, and they are repurposed in a sterile, prepackaged syringe that your plastic surgeon injects more precisely to dissolve undesired submental fat.

Surgically, one can remove fat in the neck region - carefully - with liposuction, using fine small hollow blunt straws called cannulas, often with ends that are spatulated (flattened) to minimize trauma. Otherwise, the most predictable fat removal can be done during the course of a surgical neck lift. Talk to a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to determine the best method to help you contour your neck.

Yes, neck fat can be removed, usually through liposuction. However, if there is an excess of skin as well, then the skin will need to be tightened with a minimally invasive procedure called Renuvion, or through a neck lift depending on the amount of excess.
