I have a leg injury. Can physical therapy help with sports injuries?

Yes absolutely, but the real work is what you bring home from your sessions. Therabands work amazing for joint injuries and building the muscles around long bones. You can get them for cheap off Amazon and there are many videos that will demonstrate additional activities you can slowly add to your regimen for guidance. This will build muscular tone AND help with range of motion and all exercises are easily performed at home if you are restricted from going to a gym. Dr Garcia
Yes Skilled Physical Therapy Can help with Sports Injuries.
It depends on what type of sports injuries. Most physicians will start with physical therapy to see if those treatments can help with leg or knee injuries before progressing to more invasive therapies, such as injections or surgeries. Let me know if you have additional questions.
Absolutely. But I’m a chiropractor. I would suggest you reach out to a physical therapist to answer questions about their profession. I’m not the best person to answer. There are many great PTs in my area. You need a proper diagnosis and a plan to correct this issue.
