Now that the national emergency is over, the vaccine does not have the utility it once did. At no point did it prevent infection or the spread of COVID, but it did reduce the severity of the illness in some populations. I don’t really recommend it for anyone anymore. If you are young enough to be pregnant, you are likely at very low risk for death from COVID. We have inadequate safety data, and much of what we know is not released publicly. We simply do not know if the vaccine is safe for pregnant women, and since the potential benefit to a woman that young is small, I no longer recommend it.

Hello, they are saying that pregnant women may get more serious illness from Covid than nonpregnant women due to changes in the immune system. This illness may be dangerous to you and your baby. For this reason, they are recommending the Covid vaccine while you are pregnant. This is a personal decision, though, and you can discuss your concerns, which are valid concerns, with your OB doctor before you decide for sure. Hope this helps.
