Can tooth pulp heal itself?

I was diagnosed with tooth pulp. What should I do? Can tooth pulp heal itself?

Tooth pulp can heal itself if treated properly. If the decay is removed without penetrating the pulp chamber, medication can be placed that can promote pulp healing aka reversible pulpitis. If there is a bacterial invasion in the pulp chamber, the pulp may not heal.
It is possible, but unlikely. Usually the pulp degenerates over time and will eventually become inflamed.
