Can you bite with front crowns?

I got a crown on my front tooth. Can you bite with front crowns?

I allow my patients to bite on their front crowns, Porcelain crowns are one of our strongest restorations. Michael Frith DDS
Yes, you can.
However if you had a root canal treatment on that tooth, be a little cautious.
You can bite into most foods but, it is not advisable to bite into something really hard. Crowns are as suseptable to chipping and cracking as your own natural dentition.
