Can you brush your teeth after pinhole surgery?

I had pinhole surgery yesterday. I want to brush my teeth. Can you brush your teeth after pinhole surgery?

If the pinhole surgery was performed on you gum inside the mouth, then you may brush your teeth ONLY on the non-surgical area/ site. Avoid brushing your teeth near the surgical area in your mouth. Your dentist would usually prescribe a prescription strength mouth wash for you to keep the surgical site clean.
I would avoid the area for the first two days after surgery and then don't brush vigorously until the area is no longer tender.
Not for a a week, just be gentle , keep it clean with salt warm water.
