A needle or transbronchial lung biopsy is performed under light sedation and local anesthesia. Any procedure has their risk, however, the risk of lung biopsy is relatively low. You will be awake during the procedure. For open lung biopsy you will get general anesthesia. Thank you.
High creatinine levels require diagnosis: Why are they high? What is the trend of elevation.. You personally can't "fix" high creatinine levels. Best to get the advice of your Internist or kidney specialist.
High creatinine means your kidneys are not functioning ideally. If the cause can be addressed with medications, then the kidneys can recover some of the lost function and the creatinine will decrease. But if the cause is not treatable it will remain elevated. It is a basic measure of renal function, ie how much blood per minute the kidneys can process. It’s a rough measure because creatinine production depends on muscle mass, diet; etc,
