I do work with patients who experience depression, as do others at our office. At this time our individual therapy openings are limited, but we have group therapy openings that would be very beneficial as well. The Adult Process group or Life Improvement groups are ones I would recommend to begin.
Biofeedback is a great option to help improve balance within the nervous system which can alleviate the symptoms of depression. In order to create the best program I would need to perform an in person intake. Let me know if you are able to come into the office or where you are located. Have a great day. Yes. In the meantime, you may want to get "Feeling Good" and "Feeling Better" books and start working on the given assignments in the book.  You may also want to start Guided meditation practices. Take care and stay safe.
Cognitive behavioral therapy works very well for depression. And it is very treatable but it also takes dedication on the client's part and being willing to work through issues and make positive changes in one's life.
It depends on the severity of your symptoms. It would be helpful to know more. Please feel free to call our office and we can arrange a time to speak. 201-444-8110. Regards. Rose
I do see patients with MDD. Feel free to contact my office for an appointment.
