Implants like natural teeth if not cared for can lead to bone loss and infection in some cases. It is important to care for them. You have invested a lot so maintenance is critical
Your gums are a vital indicator of implants and teeth in general. Make sure the implant and crown are NOT receiving trauma from occlusion. You should NEVER have that area touching the opposing sooner that the rest. Make sure there is no food trapped in between the teeth next to the implants. Brush and floss daily. No bleeding should be present.
Your gum can get infected after placing implant, especially when there is an extraction of a tooth that was infected before and the implant dentist extracts and place immediate implant! You need to follow the instructions of your implant dentist. For more information on tooth implants, click here: https://celebritydentist.com/dental-implants/
