“Carotid Artery ultrasound”
I had a carotid artery ultrasound done and while doing this they seen an abnormality on my thyroid.. essentially my primary care Dr said it looked like a shadow on my thyroid and most likely will be a benign nodule. I'll make an appointment to get a full ultrasound of my thyroid. I'm freaked out about the word "shadow" .. doesn't that usual point to malignacy? Im worried and wish I could relax! No lump.. no other symptoms what so ever!
