Chest injury?

I'm a 20 year old male. About 3 years ago I had a fall and I injured the right side of my chest next to my sternum. After I fell there was a flat bump that was sticking up but was bruised and was pretty sore for almost two months. About 6 months after the injury occurred I saw a doc how misdiagnosed me with pectus carinatum which is essentially a birth defect for protruding chest bones. My chest was completely flat before the injury and I had no issues. Now my breathing is affected and I get some pain in the area occasionally. What can it possibly be?

It looks like cartilaginous injury. It healed and caused deformity. Not much can be done. As it hurts occasionally just leave it alone maybe better. If any surgery done it won’t heal and get into complications. Cartilage is poorly vascularised.
