Chest pain?

I have had constant pain in my chest since 2017. Despite repeated ECG reads and x-rays, nothing shows up. My breathing and heart rate are normal, as is my blood pressure. Requests by my GP for a scan have been denied. Nothing relieves the pain. It affects every part of my daily life.

Due to the duration of symptoms, the condition does not seem to be immediately life threatening. I do not know the specifics of your CP, but I see you have a hx of fibromyalgia/osteoarthritis. Chest pain can be from a musculoskeletal cause. Meaning the muscles/bones/cartilage/joints could be inflamed causing pain. If you do not trust your providers and think you need further testing, I recommend getting a second opinion. Otherwise, you can request to see a pain specialist to help determine ways to control you pain.
Constant pain is unlikely to be of cardiac origin. Further information about the likely cause may be available from your current physicians.
