“Concern over Bloody sputum”
Hello, I have been experiencing some odd symptoms that have been worrying me. I have had these symptoms before, but recently returned stronger after starting an Antibiotic for UTI called Nitrofurantoin.
This started to occur about two months back, where there would be instances of spitting out mucus with streaks of blood. It's usually accompanied with dull chest pain. Had blood streaks when clearing out mucus before, like 2-3 times before but it's always been just a little. This time around it was a lot where I sputum in my spit with blood covering it.

Conditions: Bloody Sputum

You should see a doctor, and s/he should take a swab and send to the lab for cutlure and resistence. It could be TB, but other infections are possible. Are you running a fever? Other symptoms?
