Damage to inner colon?

For the past 6 years, I've been dealing with mild pain in the lower-right area of my colon.

Basically, this video explains everything:

I've been trying to find out what it is for years now. I've also had multiple CT scans and a colonoscopy, but they showed nothing.

I think I damaged my colon inner muscle. I was on antibiotics for 3 whole years before they happened, and I'm 90% sure it was the cause of this damage.

My question is, how do I heal my colon muscle? What supplements do I need?

I feel this dull ache every day in the lower-right area of my colon.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks

Hi,

It is not clear whether or not you may have had surgery. If not, I am unclear as to the damage you may be referring to – especially if your colonoscopy and radiographic imaging have been normal. One of the best ways to achieve a healthy colon is with a healthy, well balanced high fiber diet with fruits, vegetables and leafy greens.

I'm not sure that you are on the right track. Antibiotics do not damage the muscles layers of the colon. Even if the muscle was damaged, this would not cause pain. Pain in the right lower quadrant could be from something besides the colon, such as small intestine, abdominal wall hernia or skeletal muscle strain, adhesions, etc. If you came to see me, I would ask a lot of questions about the pain and do a careful physical exam to try to determine the cause. But from what you describe, it is not necessarily explained by the colon.
