Diarrhea explosive?

Two months ago got explosive diarrhea eating beef (my staple). After the 2nd time I stopped eating beef. For the past two months I get diarrhea maybe once a week with no food in particular. Not like explosive diarrhea. Sometimes it takes a few days to get my bowel movements back to normal. For the few days after the bout of diarrhea I have mushy bowels that slowly get better. No other symptoms at all. Appetite file and no pain at all. Every once in awhile I get a slight flutter under my left rib. Again, no pain. No medications and 62 years old. Getting worried.

This sounds like you may have had a bout of food poisoning followed by some irritable bowel. If there is no weight loss, anemia or blood in the stool then this is probably a benign condition and can be treated with medications.
