depends on the cause of the red eye
Pink eye is a "catch phrase" for conjunctivitis of which there are many types. Usually, conjunctivitis can be bacterial, viral, or allergic. And the treatments are different depending upon which type you have. In order to properly diagnose your conjunctivitis and to be sure that it is actually a conjunctivitis, please make an appointment with an eye doctor. Good luck and best wishes.
If it’s viral , it’ll be treated symptomatically.
