Myopia, or near sightedness, can be corrected with glasses, contact lenses or surgery.
If you have mild myopia. Which would be about 1 unit nearsighted and you see 20/40 or better for distance you may not need glasses. They would benefit you for night driving. You should see a reputable eyecare provider to get all your options.
What do you define as mild myopia? I would need to know your exact prescription in order to answer this question. But, I would always advise my patients to be able to see as clearly as possible no matter what you need to see whether it be while driving and driving at night, or watching TV, doing computer work, or seeing clearly up close. I would discuss your options with your eye doctor in order to determine if glasses or contact lenses would be appropriate depending upon your age, medications, and your general health.
Good luck and best wishes.
Depends how how much it is affecting your eyes
Depends on your visual acuity.
