No a CT scan is not necessarily needed after recovering from a COVID infection. It may be useful in the presence of persistent long term symptoms, following pulmonary blood clots, or simply to verify that all has returned back to normal.
Not immediately, and not at all if your symptoms improve. If you have increased difficulty breathing chest x-ray first and possible CT.
Depending on how mild or how critical are my symptoms. If my COVID symptoms involve my pulmonary system I am intubated and placed on a vent due to respiratory compromise YES.
