After a tooth extraction will be a good idea to replace it, dental implants is one of the best ways to do it. However, you have other choices.
Depends on the number of teeth you have left to chew and talk. Many people just opt to have tooth extracted and do nothing. Possible options include no replacement, a fixed bridge, a partial if enough teeth are missing, or an implant. Of those options, an implant is usually the most expensive.
Hello,

It's really up to you. It will be beneficial to get implant. After you lose a tooth, adjacent teeth will likely shift. They may also tilt forward if it's in the back of lower arch. Adjacent teeth will get more work load to make up for the missing tooth function. Positive consequence for getting implant would be it's cosmetic and also you can eat more comfortably.
No, you do not necessarily need an implant after extraction. There are several option such as a bridge, a partial denture or flipper, or leaving the space empty. However, replacing a missing tooth with an implant is a good option.
It is not mandatory that you have to do an implant after a tooth extraction, but an implant is the best way of replacing the missing tooth and restore proper chewing.
