Do chiropractors treat foot problems?

I am a 29 year old male. I want to know if chiropractors treat foot problems?

Many chiropractors limit their practice to the human spine. Others have extra training and experience in dealing with extremities (e.g. shoulder, wrist, knee, ankle, foot, etc.). Some of us, in addition to addressing the joint problems so often present in the 26 bones of the foot, also use orthosis (i.e. custom foot support) in order to perpetuate structural corrections. This is, of course, assuming that your complaints are due to joint/arch issues which most definitely fall under the umbrella of chiropractic care and that you are not dealing with a problem a podiatrist should address. Extremity-proficient chiropractors should quickly identify if you require a referral to a good podiatrist.
In addition to chiropractic spinal manipulation, most chiropractors are trained to perform all sorts of therapies that might help you with your foot/feet. Some, (such as myself), also work with the extremities, which might include manipulation, soft-tissue work and rehabilitative exercises.
Depends on the problem, we can definitely help
Yes they do.
Yes we do! Not all chiropractors will adjust feet but many will. We treat anything from ankle sprains to plantar fasciitis. Just contact the chiro before making an appointment to be sure they are willing to take care of your feet.

Hope this helps!

Depending on the foot problem, Chiropractors can adjust the foot and work with some foot problems.
A chiropractor with training in treating extremities (ie hands, feet, knees, elbows) can treat certain foot problems. It can sometimes be beneficial to co-treat with a physical therapist or your primary care physician.
Yes Chiropractors can treat all conditions involving the musculoskeletal system.
Chiropractic can help treat musculoskeletal foot problems. A physical exam and various gait assessment may be required to find out the cause of the problem. Many chiropractors are skilled in this; however, there are a few who do not work with extremities.
Yes chiropractors treat foot problems, however many choose not to. Before making an appointment make sure that doctor works directly on extremities rather than just indirectly via the spine.
