Without question sleep is the most important factor for healthy brain functioning and optimal mental health. Should anxiety be preventing appropriate sleep hygiene, please consult with a professional to determine the causes and potential solutions to this issues. This may be treated with a combination of medication and psychotherapy. However, there are many holistic remedies that are not pharmaceutical based that entail eastern medicine principles and philosophies. The choice is up to to you based on preference, but please find a solution for for your sleep difficulties to optimize brain functioning and your overall quality of life.
Hello! If you have a reasonable amount of sleep for your age and occupation, why not just focus on reducing the anxiety! Many ways to do that - my favorite is To learn hypnosis for relaxation and calming. Look at the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis website (ASCH.org) and search for a practitioner in your area who specializes in anxiety. A few sessions is all youll likely need. Good luck! Sleep deprivation can cause a host of medical and emotional issues, including anxiety. Having good sleep is part of managing anxiety. However, anxiety can also impact sleep onset, quality, and duration. If you are more anxious by nature, it may feel as though you need more sleep because during a given day the anxiety is making you burn through your energy more quickly than someone without anxiety. That can leave you exhausted and running on fumes in the evening.
