I will have implant surgery. Do you use dissolving stitches for implant surgery?

Depends on the surgery. The Dentist decides at the time of surgery will let you know. Follow up are scheduled and dentist can take out stitches at that time if needed

Rather, these stitches will dissolve over time, gradually disappearing or falling out until they are completely gone.
No, I do not I like to have control of the healing! I prefer to watch the area close rather than risk it opening too early.

Hi, I usually place sutures that will not dissolve. Dissolving sutures tend to unravel and expose the surgical site. The patient will have a follow up visit and the sutures will be removed at that time.
