Does Lipoma removal require general anesthesia?

I have a lipoma on my groin area. I want to remove it. Does Lipoma removal require general anesthesia?

It depends on a size and location of the Lipoma.
Not necessarily. You can have sedation, deeper during the installation of the local anesthetic, and then continue with sedation for removal and closure.
