Well, long term pain can cause depression and adjustments will help with function of all things in your body. You may be surprised how well you will feel mentally also!
This is a difficult one to answer because there is not a lot of good research that directly shows the benefit to mental health, but there is an abundance of anecdotal articles that describe the benefits mentally post a chiropractic adjustment. I personally have many patients that come to my office and tell me how much they have benefitted mentally since getting adjusted. This ranges from being able to think more clearly, to feeling in a better mood and taking away the "pressure".
Could be. If pain affects you mentally, being adjusted can help manage pain symptoms that can help you mentally as a secondary effect. It possibly could be a direct effect, not sure about any supporting research that supports it.
Yes, chiropractic adjustments can improve cognitive behavior and reduce stress. There are several physiological reasons Why spinal adjustments improve brain function. I would suggest to attend the lecture in my office on a Tuesday evening. It is too cumbersome to try to put this in writing.
Many people report feeling secondary improvements in their overall wellness after an adjustment.
