It can
Yes for sure.
Hello,

Few patients reported changes in their bowel movements of loose stools or constipation, some have normal bowels after gluten free diet, all depends if they have celiac disease or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Yes, changing to a gluten-free diet will most definitely change your stool to some extent. Any major diet changes can affect how your stool is. For most people, there is not a drastic change, but a change nonetheless. If there is a major change, it is always a good idea to see your doctor and make sure something else is not occurring.

Yes, a GFD will improve diarrhea if gluten ingestion has been causing malabsorption. A GFD also lowers carbohydrates in general from the diet which can also correct diarrhea.
