Does a hard toothbrush destroy enamel?

I am using a hard toothbrush. Is it safe? Does a hard toothbrush destroy enamel?

No. The Enamel portion of our teeth Is the hardest structure of the human body. The gum tissues and the root structure are a completely different story. The use of a hard toothbrush in combination with the gritty material that is in most toothpaste will cause damage to the softer
structures in the mouth over time.
A harder toothbrush does not necessarily destroy” enamel, but it can cause unwanted wear on your teeth, especially at the gum line. It is best to use a soft toothbrush with a gentle, circular brushstroke.
Always use a soft toothbrush.
You may get some toothbrush abrasion close to your gums which could cause some recession of your gums. A soft brush is better. Thanks.
