I am a 29 year old male. I want to know if alcohol affects local anesthetic?

Yes, acute intoxication requires less anesthesia, chronic alcoholism increases sedative drugs requirements

Chronic alcohol use that has affected the liver and its ability to metabolize medications can cause delayed metabolism of local anesthetics causing a prolonged effect. Acute alcohol intoxication if severe enough to affect the liver can cause a similar effect.
