No, substance use disorders are a lifelong challenge we fight we daily overcome because relapse is always on the table. Review the Stages of Change. Attend meetings, get a sponsor, work the 12-step program if that works for you, faith practices if that works for you, and a strong healthy support system as well as weekly substance use counseling.
