I will have a colonoscopy to remove polyps. Does it hurt when they remove polyps during a colonoscopy?

No, you will not have any pain from the removal of polyps during the procedure, but may have intermittent cramp-like pain from inflating the colon if you wake up from the anesthesia during the procedure.
No. You will be adequately sedated and will not feel the removal of polyps.
You feel discomfort when you awaken from anesthesia.
It should not. You may feel bloated for 1-2 days afterwards, but there is typically not pain associated with it.
