“Does my daughter have her first period?”
My daughter is 9 years old, she may have started her period for the first time. She has lower stomach aches and keeps having to pee. Over the last 3 hours, she's been lightly bleeding bright red. No thickness definitely coming from the front. She was not going pee a lot before should I get her into the doctor's or emergency room in case it is not her period?

Your daughter may indeed be having her first period; that would be very early for a 9-year-old. You should see your physician as soon as possible for an exam and tests to see if this bleeding is from her uterus or other source. There is no need for an emergency room visit.
