“Does taking tamsulosin, and sertraline, with lansoprazole, worsen dementia?”
I am in my late 70's and have been taking tamsulosin with sertraline, with lansoprazole, and now have dementia. Will taking all three together cause more severe dementia, please. I have been taking them for some years on my doctor's instruction and now I have dementia and deteriorating rarely rapidly

Probably not. With a very high dose of sertraline (more than 500 mg a day), it might. But other than that, I don’t think these medications would worsen dementia.
None of those medicine sound like they have been strongly associated with dementia. Although I believe there has been some speculation about long-term use of PPIs, of which lansoprazole is part of that class. But I am not the best one to ask. I would talk to a neurologist.

Long-term use of lansoprazole has been associated with dementia. Talk to your doctor about stopping this and try using tums as an antacid with some eating habits modification. See a Neurologist with regards to treating your dementia.
