Double Dose of My Anxiety Meds?

Hello, I am on Paxil (40mg), and I have been on this med for over a year and a half. I do not remember if I took it or not, and I decided to take it, and now my OCD is acting up and I am thinking that I accidentally toom 80 mg of the Paxil...Will I be okay? This is the only time I've ever done it

You will be okay, but I would strongly advise against taking Paxil for anxiety. It actually has a serious side effect of causing anxiety.
Ask your psychiatrist.

Regarding your medicine, you need to consult with the person prescribing and not a psychologist. In most states, psychologists are not licensed to prescribe medicines, so they cannot render an opinion.

It is dangerous to take a double dose of your anxiety medication. However, you should be alright. If you notice tremors, severe sweating, agitation, or any other unexplained symptoms, go to the ER. And I recommend a pill box that you fill with your medication to help you keep track of when you take your medicine so if you are to forget, you only need to look at your pill box to see if you took your medicine for the day or not.
