“Drug analysis?”
I was wondering why my urine drug test that was sent into a laboratory for analysis came back dirty for Adderall? I am prescribed Vyvanse and specifically told them that and it said Adderall. Is there any urine drug testing that can tell the difference between the two medications?

Both Vyvance and Adderall are amphetamines. If your drug test came up positive for amphetamines, yes. Also, Vyvance is considered a pro drug, which means it gets converted into essentially the same thing as Adderall. So, if you’ve been on by Vyvance and it comes up positive for Adderall, amphetamine, the answer is yes. I would ensure that my prescriber is aware that Adderall is coming up in your drug test. It does not make it a dirty test, it actually makes it a confirmatory test that you’re taking your medication.
