Dry cough?

I have a dry cough but no other symptoms for about 5 weeks now.

A dry cough for more than two weeks requires a chest X-ray for further evaluation. Assuming no smoking history, this is probably a reactive cough from a bronchitis. Though an allergy to dust mold or dander could also be a cause, not to mention esophageal reflux or whooping cough bacteria or asthma presenting as a cough or a reaction to medication class called ACE inhibitors usually used to treat hypertension.
Hope this helps.
