“Ejaculation after hernia mesh repair?”
I have a brother who had inguinal hernia mesh repair 3 months ago. Recently he had sexual intercourse but he says he gets early ejaculation but he fears seeking a doctor's help. Sometimes he can see semen just flowing out of his penis instead of urine. My question is can hernia mesh repair cause early ejaculation and all that?

Consult Urology.
Repair of a hernia with mesh should not affect sexual function. The nerves that control erection and ejaculation are not involved in a hernia repair. I would recommend follow up with a urologist if he continues to have problems.
