Pharmacist Questions Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)

Esophagus hypersensitivity?

I was just diagnosed with esophagus hypersensitivity. I was wondering what medication I can treat it with that won't cause weight gain and sexual dysfunction. I have read that nortriptline, imitriptline, trazadone, and theophylline are options. I just want to know which one has the least side effects.

I'm not sure what hypersensitivity of the esophagus is... Best to ask a GI doctor. Maybe you are referencing eosinophilic esophagitis? In which case you should be seeing an allergist to help with that.
