Excessive histamine production?

As I have become older, I am producing more and more histamine. Every time I exercise I sneeze and my nose runs. I feel like I have the flu and this lasted for almost 3 weeks. When my body stops producing excessive amounts of histamine, I attempt to exercise again, just to be plagued by the same condition. I have taken antihistamine tablets but they are of no use. Is there anything you can suggest? I've even tried low histamine diets. I wonder if I have an autoimmune disorder. If there is anything you know of please let me know.

There are several things that could be going on here and I do not believe that it is as simple as excess histamine. Several of the possibilities could be related to some immune issues so I would advise seeing an allergist/immunologist to take a more detailed history, review your medications (sometimes adverse reactions to long-term medications can be an issue), and then decide on proper testing. I hope that helps.
