Eye Shakes/ Visual distortion

I have experienced shaky vision in the top as well the left corner of my left eye. This has happened 4 times so far in a span of 6 months. the most recent being yesterday (11/18/2023).

it starts of with a dark/ blind spot in the centre of my eye/ vision so I can see like the peripheries of stuff but not the middle. Kind of like when you stare at the sun or a bulb then you get a dark spot in your vision for a bit.

this then transitions into shaky vision in the top and left hand corner of my left eye only. the best way I can describe it is like when you look at the ground on a hot day or the sand in a desert when heat is rising so things look all wavy. that's what it looks like.

then this lasts for 10-15 minutes then it goes away.

please note that I never have headaches or migraines ever during these episodes.

do you have an idea of what this could be?

This could well be an "ocular migraine" where people have visual changes that are temporary, and no headaches. You can look this up online. There are sometimes dietary and hormonal triggers.
www.ao.org is a good resource, as is the May Clinic website.
Despite the lack of a headache you are describing an ophthalmic migraine with temporary "blind spots" known as scotoma and scintillating scotoma, the "shaky" areas around the scotoma. Look up Ophthalmic migraine images on google and you will see images much as you describe. The vascular spasm, accompanied by your symptoms, and subsequent dilation which accompanies the resolution of your symptoms occurs in the occipital portion of the brain. The area involved is not large enough to cause enough increased blood volume to produce the pounding headache associated with classic migraine. In either condition mechanism of spasm followed by dilation of blood vessels is the same, and symptoms are self limited, and there is rarely any structural damage.
